Lately I have been in an artistic mood, so I decided to work on a new piece in traditional medium.

So far I only have some of the base colors done, but I keep looking at it and wondering why I am doing it in traditional medium. Yesterday I managed to install Adobe Creative Suite CS4 Master Collection in my faster PC, so I am now able to do digital art again. So, I was thinking about doing this in a digital medium instead since I would have more tools to work with when I deal with the background and I could add more realistic effects.


Maybe I should do both and see which one I like best...?

• 08:52 is taking Ricky to the vet @ 9:40AM. Hope I get ok news. Then home to relax. Craig will be home today, and massive torrents will be had. #
• 11:37 just got back from Ricky and Tikki's vet. They both have ECE and are on medication for it now, to be given every 12 hours. Hope it works. :( #
• 20:14 is glad to see that Ricky is eating his soft foods without me spoon feeding him. Maybe he'll graduate to solid foods soon. :) #

On to more serious matters, I took Ricky and Tikki to the vet this morning. It was just as I thought: both of them have ECE. They now have to take an oral gel to be administered every 12 hours that is very bitter and makes them froth at the mouth. It's safe to say that they hate it, but no matter. Anything to make them get better so they won't be sick anymore is fine with me, especially Ricky, who is taking it much harder than Tikki.

Ricky's now eating soft foods "mostly" on his own. ("Mostly" being that I don't have to spoon feed him and he eats straight from the bowl.) He still sits in my lap to feed and won't eat anyway else. Maybe I just make him feel more comfortable or at ease? I'm not so sure.

Hopefully they will get better soon, but until then, they just need regular feedings and some TLC. :)

• 08:01 has classes @ 9AM, 11AM. Adviser meeting @ 12PM. Home around 1PM. Reading, notes, and lecture make up to follow. SPRING BREAK IS HERE! :D #
• 23:05 is relaxing with Josh before bed. Ricky has a vet appointment @ 9:40AM tomorrow. Let's hope they can help him somehow. :( #

Now that Spring Break is here, I can relax, right?

I have 16 chapters in a book to read for World Civilizations, have internship work to catch up on since I have been slacking for 2 weeks because of midterms, plan my fall semester, and many other things.

This is probably what I will be like for the next week when I am not working. Do not be surprised:

• 08:23 is going to go get supplies from the pet store @ 9:30AM. Then set up the new cage, get the ferrets comfy, and relax the rest of the day. #

• 14:12 is worried about Ricky. He hasn't eaten anything in 2 days. He's depressed. Going to separate Ricky and Tikki until they are better. #
• 14:15 hasn't gotten sleep this week because of ferrets and exams. Exams are over and ferrets are going in separate cages. Maybe I will get sleep. #
• 16:30 didn't think she did well on the CS midterm. As for World Civ and Discrete Math, I know I aced them both. Will be home around 7PM. Then bed. #
